Happy Friday, gang! (And Happy Birthday, Dad!) Who's got big plans for the weekend? If you're still wondering what to do, here are a few things you should check out here in Boston:
...if you just got a promotion: Head over to the Of Mercer pop-up shop at 127 Newbury Street. Of Mercer carries chic, office-appropriate dresses, blazers, tops and sweaters that easy to mix-and-match. Think Theory and Vince quality pieces, at a better price point. Learn more, and get down with in-store events here.
...if you need a staycation: The Hilton Boston/Dedham is only ten miles from downtown, which makes it attractive if you are coming in from western MA and need a stop over before an early flight from Logan. Alternatively, it is also a five minute drive to Legacy Place, so it's a nice spot for an overnight - take a dip, followed by shopping and dinner, and take your coffee out on their pretty lawn in the morning! Make a reservation here.
...if you're not in Kansas anymore: You know what dining in the Pru is like, right? I mean, it's great and all, but it's still a mall. Not so when you enter Earl's Kitchen +Bar. The massive new space includes a sophisticated dining room and a seriously pretty outdoor roof deck. Mr. TBF and I ate there and kept saying, "Wait, did we walk through some space/time portal to get here? Where are we even?" The service is fantastic, and the menu is a crowd-pleaser. Pro-Tip: Order the Spicy Tuna Sushi Press. See more from Earl's here.
