Happy Friday everyone! Even though it was a short week after Labor Day, are you ready for the weekend? I hear you, and I am here to help with a few ideas if you need some fun plans.
First off, please take a few minutes to donate what you can, no matter the amount, to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. This relief fund was set up by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner through the Greater Houston Community Foundation. Please also consider giving to the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross to help the Irma relief efforts.
What to do this weekend...
...if you're in need of an escape: Transport yourself to a magical wonderland in Cirque du Soleil's OVO, performing at the Agganis Arena through Sunday. Like all Cirque performances, this one will take your breath away. OVO boasts some of the most beautiful costumes I have seen in Cirque shows - you'll wonder if you are watching a human, or a real butterfly. Learn more about OVO and buy tickets here.
...if you need some pampering: If you've had a little too much sun this summer, or simply need a perk up for tired skin, head over to Nurse Fiona in Framingham. Fiona and her team of specialists offer a variety of skin services, as well as medical spa treatments. Nurse Fiona also has a simply adorable third floor suite, which is the perfect space to host skincare, vitamin infusion and botox parties! Also, chat with Fiona herself, who is funny, interesting, and not-pressurey (is that a word?). Make an appointment here.
...if you want to try something new: Settle in to anoush'ella, a new "fine casual" eastern Mediterranean restaurant in the South End. I haven't been yet, but the menu looks to die for! Check it out here.
TOP and SKIRT: J.Crew postcard print (c/o, all postcard print is on sale!!!) SANDALS: M.Gemi (c/o, also on sale!! Make sure you stop by M.Gemi's brick and mortar shop at the Pru to check out all their handmade, Italian sandals, heels and flats.) BAG: Little Liffner SUNGLASSES: House of Harlow 1960 BRACELETS: Irrestibles PHOTOS: Catherine Threlkeld
