March may have been in and out like a lion (a ferocious lion, like Truman!), but we Bostonians know that spring is just a short month of April away. In the meantime, I'll just wear my sunshine. This skirt is actually from Talbots' holiday collection, and I still think it's perfect for winter parties, but it looks so cheerful with a bright top that it's very easy to keep wearing throughout spring. All this color and pattern is a lot of look - especially for someone who is 5'2" - so I kept my accessories simple, with these delicate earrings from the Boston Ballet Shop (yes, they have a shop, and it's wonderful).
And don't worry, no cats were harmed while shooting these photos. Truman just wanted to get in on the action! What a ham.

Oh my GOD, you really know how to compliment me. Vera Ellen does wear a LOT of amazing skirts and turtlenecks in that movie, which, as you know, I watch religiously every year. Clearly that's why I was drawn to this look!
DeleteBeautiful outfit! I love the shoes! Boston is insufferable with it's weather, every year.
