One of my favorite Boston neighborhoods? Downtown. From shopping (the home of large department stores and new "fast fashion" retailers), historic locations like Faneuil Hall and Boston Harbor, as well as cultural institutions like the Boston Ballet and the Theatre District, there is something to be said for being in the hub of the Hub. Try Chacarero for lunch on the go, or simply snack on roasted nuts and pretzels from street vendors. Take a gander at street performers outside Quincy Market, and wander along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Downtown is your gateway to Boston, and, in this part of town, you're never hurting for something to do!
Since you'll be on the go, you need comfortable footwear, but you don't want to look like a tourist in sneakers! These chic, over-the-knee boots are edgy, but flat and easy to walk in. A simple chambray dress can be styled "down" with a cargo jacket and a scarf for the day, and "up" with glam jewelry for evening. You can find them both at ShoeBuy.com!
