It's so autumn-y in Boston right now, you might as well pinterest the whole region. Apple picking, bonfires and marshmallows, college football, apple cider, leaf peeping - New England is really making an effort to give us these last few amazing weeks before Seasonal Affective Disorder winter sets in. And while the rest of the fashion industry is raving over the resurgence of cozy knitwear, chic New England women are saying "Knits? For autumn? Groundbreaking." But why let oversized turtlenecks and cardigans have all the fun? I'm taking advantage of the knitwear craze to cuddle up in luxe sweater coats (think pima cotton, alpaca) and stunning, autumn-tree-inspired colors.
