The invitation arrived on a Tuesday. "Neighborhood Garden Party!", it read. My neighbors would be strolling from house to house, stopping in each garden for 20-30 minutes before moving to the next one. I gladly offered our house as a midpoint along the tour, and was very much looking forward to the party, until I said to myself, "Self, how are you going to prep for a party when you will be at an entirely different party, at an entirely different house?" Planning fail! Fortunately, I had just picked up some lovely new glassware from Zappos. Prior to the event, I arranged some white wine glasses on an outdoor bar, and mixed lemonade in a beverage dispenser. I went basic with the snacks (cheese / crackers / crudité). When guests (and, well, I) arrived, all I had to do was pull the ice bucket out of the freezer and the wine out of the fridge. Instant, easy summer party! And lemonade looks so much more fancy in a pretty dispenser, don't you think?

    1. There were 7 gardens total! It was really fun seeing all the different flowers and spaces.
