I've had this velvet, eggplant jacket in my closet for years, and just haven't ever gotten around to wearing it. You'd think I'd find a million ways to style such a versatile piece, right? Of course! And yet I never seemed to reach for it. Finally, in a closet clean out, it went on top of the Give Away Pile. Which of course wasn't actually given away, but continued to sit in my closet...until one morning last week, when I wanted a jacket to pair with this hunter green leather skirt. Voilà! Now, I can't imagine why it took me so long to wear this jacket.
(Note to Self: Time to REALLY give away the Give Away Pile.)
