Packing for a Long Weekend

This week I'm in San Francisco for a friend's wedding...yes, there will be outfit posts! But in the meantime, I thought I'd share some packing picks. Let me first say, I am a notorious over-packer. This trip, I packed what I thought I needed, found there was extra space in my suitcase, shrugged my shoulders and just added more. Packing fail. This is what I wish I would have brought this weekend: mix and match, day to night casual pieces that could make a number of different outfits!

What are your packing essentials or packing tips? Do you suffer from Over-Packing Syndrome?

    I am definitely an over packer.... I just packed for a weekend on the beach, and ended up living in my bathing suits and my tunic coverup. I am always so afraid of leaving something behind that I may need for an outfit.... love your inspiration pics!
