Interested in spicing up your outfit with a little pattern mixing, but afraid you'll clash? Stripes and polka dots are the easiest way to mix prints! Pair them in the same color scheme (black and white is sort of the ne plus ultra of chic). Try red, white and blue for an All-American look, or even incorporate some of the brights and neons that are so hot right now.
How are you wearing stripes and polka dots this summer?
SWEATER: Thrifted, SKIRT: Urban Outfitters, SHOES: c/o Keds (now on sale!), BAG: Michael Kors, WATCH: Michael Kors, BRACELET: c/o Stella & Dot, NECKLACE: H&M
People often comment on my big, toothy grins in my photos. I simply cannot do the "sexy face" that other bloggers have mastered - it looks utterly ridiculous when I do it! And you're never fully dressed without a smile?
I LOVE these Keds - they are super comfortable (I don't even need to "break them in" - just put them on and wear all day). And how cute is the eyelet style?
Love it! Stripes and dots looks so adorable in the red, white, and blue color scheme. I love how the skirt mixes them up. Hope you had a great holiday!
I find that, when mixing prints anyway, polka dots and stripes work almost like solids - they go with anything, right? And I do love these eyelet Keds - they're a comfy tennis shoe that makes my foot look good. Who knew such a thing could exist?
I am totally wearing stripes and polka dots this summer! More stripes than polkas, only because I just have more stripes in my closet. This is such a cute way to mix patterns!
I swear I am possibly the last fashion blogger out there to have not embraced stripes and polka dots, and I could kick myself because the look is so darn cute! LOVE this entire ensemble, especially that skirt + Keds!!
I'm loving Keds! What a fun, casual show for summer. Your pattern-mixing is great too. I still struggle with putting together great patterns. You've got it down!
I love this outfit - you always look so cheerful in your photos it's great! Those Keds are pretty fantastic too :)

I love the whole Americana vibe. I'm usually pretty partial to heels, but the Keds kind of make the look!
