One week ago, I was in Costa Rica, wearing this purple sundress at our beach villa. You can see how I styled it - barefoot, no makeup, hair in a messy bun and sunglasses as my only accessory. I wore the purple dress again yesterday, back at home in the Hub...
October - even a warm October - dictates boots, and a chambray shirt that has become a mainstay in my closet. And! A fabulous necklace care of Style Rush Fashions - I received this a few months ago and have been anxiously awaiting finding a perfect outfit with which to pair it. Which look do you prefer - beach or Boston?
Dress: Shop Calico
Button Down Shirt: Forever 21
Boots: Walter Steiger
Necklace: Style Rush Fashions
Sunglasses: Both pairs, Urban Outfitters
Watch & Handbag: Michael Kors
You look beautiful in purple and I love it paired up with that necklace and the brown boots! Hope you had a lovely time in Costa Rica.
ReplyDeleteLove both looks! So jealous of the Costa Rican backdrop though! And the hammock! (Now dreaming of laying in hammock) xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove a dress you can wear in all temperatures! Looks great and I adore the necklace!!
ReplyDeleteMuy bonita!
ReplyDeleteBOSTON! I'm in such a fall state of mind lately. Probably because the weather refuses to reflect the season!
ReplyDeleteI like both outfits! It is just amazing how just with some simple elements you can change totally beachy outfit into something more suitable for Fall. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI think they both look great and pefect for the environment. It's such a great dress and I really like those boots.
ReplyDeletelove how you styled for both summer & fall! i'm wearing purple today too!!! must be fashion telepathy ^_^
ReplyDeleteGreat look both ways! especially the accessories!
ReplyDeleteLove the dress. And I totally understand trying to turn summer pieces into fall pieces. You styled it lovely, especially with the boots!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Sabrina
I'm voting the Boston outfit just because thinking of Costa Rica is making me sad! I love the combo with the boots though.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the bangs are looking good. ;-)
I love how you transitioned your dress. I always feel like I'm drawn to tropical things when I'm on vacation, then I'm left with things I'll never wear again, but this looks so cute! I love it with the boots.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great dress, and both looks are just adorable :)

I love it both ways! Amazing how you take it from such a beach-y look to such a perfect fall outfit.
ReplyDeleteBoth look great but I love how simple and beautiful the beach look is!
ReplyDeleteMore is more and more is GOOD. So I vote Boston (and I cast a separate vote for your awesome necklace).
ReplyDeleteMy vote also has nothing to do with seething jealousy of your vacation. How dare you even think that?!
Nice! A dress you can wear anywhere!

I have to say - I like the beach look better. BUT that's because the day I wore it was spent hanging out at a secluded beach villa with Mr. BF. I mean, can you beat that?
ReplyDeleteBoth looks are great, but I prefer the Costa Rica look, mainly because you have a mimosa and a hammock in one of the pictures - can't beat that!
