The One That Almost Got Away


I pulled this skirt out of a bag of giveaways. Yes! I was going to give it away, and then I was looking for something soft and floaty to wear with my leopard sweater, and thought..."what about that pink skirt?" I dug it out of a bag, steamed it in the bathroom and pulled it on. Now...I'm torn. Back in the giveaway pile, or back into regular rotation?


Mr. BF said this outfit made me look like Courtney Love. I don't see it AT ALL, and I have no idea if he meant it as a compliment or an insult. Whatever, I am off to go listen to "Doll Parts" and feel some early nineties angst...

    Love the outfit, think the skirt looks darling on you! You could winterize it with a black cashmere turtleneck, tights and boots, right? I send so much off to consignment and the giveaway pile and hate when I realize I sent something out that I want to wear. But, oh well...

    i think it is lovely! it is so hard to get rid of clothes because the minute u do in three months you will be like where is that lovely pink skirt?? i think you should keep it since you just wore it, you obviously love it!

    Love love love pale pink and leopard, just got some pink skinny jeans and can't wait to wear them with a leopard scarf or shoes!! Yay for saving that one!

    i vote keep! it's a great length and in the winter you can put some cream colored sweater tights on, booties, and a cute top & call it a day!

    I maybe see where he was going with the Courtney Love thing, if you took this outfit and rolled around in the streets for a bit, didn't wash your hair for a week, slept in your makeup and had a bottle of booze in hand. Anything for a good 90s girl grunge reference! (And that skirt deserves heavy rotation.)
