One of my favorite things about summer? The hot weather, and the cute cotton sundresses the hot weather requires! And sitting on the porch with a good book...


And sandals! My toes are so happy to not be in boots.

David Foster Wallace wrote that "most really pretty girls have pretty ugly feet". So don't say anything!

Cool, comfortable, easy and stylish, the cotton sundress and a pair of sandals are a girl's best friend. Sundresses are easy to come by and in a number of price ranges - I like Modcloth, Boden and Shop Ruche for the variety and their reasonable costs. What are your favorite shops for an easy, breezy sundress?

    Cute outfit! You look so chic reading that book!

    I love most of the stuff on ModCloth but I've always been scared to buy anything from them... I usually stick to brands I'm very familiar with when I order online. They have soooo many great dresses, though, that I'm sure I'll cave eventually and buy something, hopefully in the right size.
